Sales and Marketing Manager
Location: Suriname
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Annual Marketing Plan that focuses on meeting the Company’s objectives.
- Working with advertising agencies to review and create a suite of creative marketing initiatives that include brochures, newsletters and commercials.
- Develop a working relationship with the media for timely and effective media coverage for advertisement of the Company’s products
- Continuous update of the Company’s website and social media forum
- Responsible for all sales and marketing projects from the initiation to implementation stages
- Conduct market research to assess the viability and potential of new products
- Develop and manage the marketing and advertising budget
- Manage, train and mentor all subordinate sales and marketing staff
- Work in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Supervisors to open new markets and to expand existing markets
- Provide strategic sales and marketing support to the General Manager and Manager responsible for International Marketing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BSc in Management or Marketing or Business Economics with at least 3 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good customer-service, negotiating and interpersonal skills
