PIMS Timesheet is a flexible tool for booking of man-hours. The features include export of information to Excel, verification and analysis of man-hours and printing of detailed reports. Position rates can also be added to calculate the total man-hour cost split down to a detailed level or aggregated to a summary level.
Registration of man-hours is done through a user friendly web application set up on the intranet or internet. Cross-project functionality means the user only needs a single web page to manage all their man-hours.
The Timesheet module allows you to compile all man-hours registered directly by each resource against predefined project Work Breakdown Structures and contracts. A standard section for registering man-hours related to vacations, sick leave etc. is also included.
The module has a built-in calendar function for defining norms for different positions, as well as flagging public holidays. This allows the project to set up several calendars based on different work locations: e.g. offshore/on-shore and rotation.
Each user will save and release their own registered man-hours, while the manager can easily verify and approve man-hours for everyone in their organisation via the approval screen.
As the Timesheet module has an integrated interface against the other PIMS modules, all hours can be easily exported to the other modules for reporting hours and cost, on a monthly or weekly basis.
