The PIMS Personnel (MPP) module is a comprehensive collection of process driven tools that work together to optimise overall project productivity. The module will help to utilise your resources in an as efficient matter as possible and will ensure your projects are carried out with optimal performance.
PIMS Personnel allows you to organise and get an overview of all the resources available and required in any kind of project or sub-project. It allows easy identification of the key qualifications and competencies of your resources thereby ensuring optimal resources are assigned to the positions. The module allows you to organise and structure your activities in such a manner that the resources needed to get the work done are clearly identified and the scope of work easy to grasp. It enables you to define the resource requirements and keep track of the gap between requirements and actual assignments.
Through linking to the Work Breakdown Structure and the Organisational Breakdown Structure, PIMS can estimate and forecast man-hours and man-hour cost from top level down to a single resource. These estimates can be transferred to your project control basis when performing a baseline update.
To provide management with the appropriate reports, PIMS contains graphical reports like bar charts, s-curves and histograms in addition to regular tabular reports.
