The PIMS Cost, Time & Resources module allows you to establish, organise and keep track of the building blocks that make up your projects.
The module emphasises standardisation, structuring and information sharing between projects and contracts. By showing the big picture and at the same time allowing you to go into the details, this module provides an opportunity to ensure work is done within the required time, cost and quality.
In the PIMS Cost, Time & Resources module, CTR’s can be established by manual input, automatic generation from default CTR sets or by importing from external sources such as Excel, MS Project and Safran. CTR’s are organised by assignment to projects and WBS structures. They can also be linked to variation orders and milestones – to keep track of changes and ensure that project scope is carried out within the agreed timeframe.
CTR’s are broken down into deliverables by which man-hour budgets are established and actual progress is reported. Actual man-hours are reported by CTR and can be registered manually or imported from external sources.
It is also possible to indicate the resources needed to carry out a CTR deliverable and then allocate the project personnel needed. Budgets, actual progress, actual man-hours, earned man-hours and productivity is reported and stored periodically by week, month or quarter.
The integrated Personnel module allows you to register resource requests by project and allocate project-personnel, hence giving you an overview of your projects’ manpower requirements, your current staffing and your project members.
