Omega PS, Omega’s US company, has launched its Project Consultants Department with the employment of its first Consultants Manager, Anne Beato. Beato will lead the way as Omega PS expands to meet the increasing demand for consultants in the US market.

Since launching in 2001, leading US oil and energy companies including Nobel Energy, Worley Parsons, BP and Conoco Philips have utilized Omega’s project management and completion management systems. Along with the demand for Omega’s systems, there has been a growing demand for high-quality consultants in this market.

Omega`s extensive experience in recruitment, selection and personnel placement will now be adapted for the US office to meet client demands and offer new and exciting opportunities for consultants.

Spearheading the expansion will be Omega’s first US-based Consultants Manager, Anne Beato, who suggests Omega has positioned itself well for further expansion.

“Omega is recognized and boasts a solid client portfolio including some of the world`s leading energy companies. We already have a great product and great skills,” says Beato.

“The competition is strong, but we have many advantages; a strong company backbone; a well-established personnel base; high competency and many supporting functions that make our job easier.”

According to Omega PS President, Øyvind Vik, the establishment of a Consultants Management Department in Houston is essential for ongoing success in the US market.

“We would like to offer even better service for our existing clients and offer more local candidates for US projects. Both American clients and Norwegian clients established in the US have required this, “ explains Vik.

“We also want to give our US consultants a local contact who is focused on their needs,” says Vik.

Today Omega`s Houston team consists of approximately 20 Omega team members. This figure is expected to rise over the next twelve months as Beato fulfills the current consultant needs of clients and uncovers new opportunities.
