In order to support Omega’s ongoing growth, our Systems Departments are currently looking to hire 10 new Software Developers to our Norwegian offices in Oslo, Stavanger and Ølensvåg.

Expanding systems team

“There is no shortage of activity at Omega at the moment and we need more Software Developers in order to meet the needs of existing and new clients,” says Svein Tore Haraldseid, Omega’s Manager for Project Systems.

Omega’s Manager for Project Systems, Svein Tore Haraldseid, is looking to expand his Software Developer team.

Omega is initally looking to fill positions at our expanding offices in Ølensvåg, Stavanger and Oslo, however Haraldseid expects there will be the need for new Software Developers at other Omega locations in the future.

There are currently over 120 software developers on Omega’s team, and they look forward to the welcoming new colleagues who can help tackle exciting projects and further elevate client service.

Assignments in Norway and abroad

“Omega’s Software Developer team has grown steadily over the past few years. Many of our biggest clients, like BP, Talisman and Conoco Phillips are looking to Omega to take on large projects and we therefore need more capacity and new talent,” explains Haraldseid, who promises exciting assignments for Omega’s new Software Developers.

“We are looking for creative people who are interested in contributing to all parts of our projects. Our Software Developers will also have access to assignment opportunities throughout Norway and around the world,” Haraldseid points out.

Software Developers on Omega’s team have the opportunity to contribute to all facets of the development process from software design to the implementation of complete systems with the client. Omega promotes a flat organizational structure and a culture of ongoing improvement, such that all team members have the opportunity to utilize their strengths in their daily work.
