New frame agreement
with Maritime Directorate

On 5 October Omega signed a frame agreement to provide consultants to the Norwegian Maritime Directorate for the next two years.

The terms of the agreement are two years with two one-year options. Omega consultants will assist the Maritime Directorate`s Vessel and Seafarer Department in Haugesund, in disciplines such as marine engineering, structure and hull.

New Clients

This is the first time Omega has delivered consultants to the Norwegian Maritime Directorate. In August Omega was awarded a frame agreement with the Norwegian National Rail Administration, to deliver services within project management and consultancy assignments.

With these new frame agreements Omega takes a step outside its traditional client group within the oil and energy sector.

“ With the Maritime Directorate and the Norwegian National Rail Administration among our latest clients, Omega strengthens its position outside of the oil sector”, explains Omega Consultants Manager, Torleif Heggebø.

Local consultants

Department Director in the Norwegian Maritime Directorate, Lars Alvestad, is positive to the frame agreement signed with Omega.

“The agreement will help us access professionals on short notice, assisting with the peaks in our workload,” says Alvestad.

Heggebø looks forward to the chance for Omega to, once again, contribute locally.

“This frame agreement means that we can offer assignments to local consultants and candidates. The agreement also allows us the chance to find assignments for newly graduated consultants”, says Heggebø.
