How TeamDocuments works
TeamDocuments is an easy-to-use web application for enterprise social networking. The application’s many features serve to enhance communication and collaboration between team members, increasing productivity and decreasing e-mail usage.
TeamDocuments facilitates real-time collaboration, allowing team members from all over the world to identify, discuss and agree on key points in any type of project 24x7x365. In the process, team members can provide a variety of content types to assist the decision-making process, including comments, Office documents, file folders, images, reports, polls, tasks and task lists. Flexibility
TeamDocuments has been successfully employed to manage global collaboration towards the development and review of proposals, contracts, standards, procedures, and engineering deliverables.
Utilised as a meeting tool, TeamDocuments improves meeting efficiency by allowing users to design, share and discuss meeting agendas prior to meeting. Both ad hoc and recurring meetings can be conducted and managed in TeamDocuments, via the documentation of meeting minutes and the assignment and follow up of relevant tasks. TeamDocuments has been successfully utilised in status meetings, board meetings, and creative meetings.
A TeamDocument can be structured hierarchically with any number of detail levels, and can be shared with small or large groups of team members. Management can also enforce governance rules to ensure compliance with retention and access control requirements.
Integration
For clients also running Omega’s Project Information Management System, PIMS, TeamDocuments has been integrated with the key PIMS modules, allowing for integrated collaboration throughout the PIMS package. However, PIMS is not required for TeamDocuments to operate.
