Duration: ASAP / 1 month - 1 Year
Location: primarily Bergen, evt. Stavanger

Assignment Description

• Prepare electrical system design
• Prepare electrical system philosophies
• Prepare electrical drawings and documentation
• Conduct electrical calculations
• Coordinate design and deliveries with other disciplines
• Follow up vendor packages for electrical discipline
• Participate in design and safety reviews 
• Prepare documentation for fabrication and assembly
• Follow up planning dates and milestones
• Ensure that deliveries are in compliance with relevant directives, codes, standards, work processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrical engineer
• Formal higher education degree in engineering
• Familiar with standards and classification society rules relevant for offshore floating wind
• Experience and knowledge of distribution boards, transformer, UPS-systems and general knowledge of marine electrical systems are preferred
• Strong communication and cooperation skills
• Good Norwegian and English skills, spoken and written
• Structured and systematic approach
• Good analytic skills
• Have the ability to work independently and in team, to be proactive and focused on safety and project goals
• Solution oriented and proactive concerning multidiscipline problems.
